A sunday as written in the books.
It had everything anyone could ask for... sunshine, ice- cream and a hell of a lot of
laughter.
Me and two of my very best friends made our way to Mauerpark yesterday, which is probably the most famous fleamarket in Berlin- all of us
had a major hangover so kudos to us, for being so brave .
Even though it is terribly crowded over there I think it's a must to go see it every once in a while in spring/ summer.
Once you get over how full it is, you'll end up having a wonderful time and can find almost anything that your heart craves for. Beautiful vases, vintage blouses, self- made jewelry and plenty of food from different cultures.
Being all fleamarket girl today, I decided to go for a denim shirt, which I bought several years ago at this very same spot. It's vintage Marc O' Polo and I've been very much in love with it ever since. But it wouldn't be "all denim everything", when only I had worn denim today...
so my best friend- partner in crime- sister from another mister- Maxi and I both ended up wearing very similar Jeans shirts and kind of LOVED IT.
As much as we adore eachother, we' ve got very different personalities and therefore styles, so even wearing similar shirts we got two very differing looks here.
Where I went for the save deal and combined my denim shirt with some black skinny jeans, gold accessories and plateau flats Maxi went all in and wore the shirt with some coral skinny jeans, a beige top and made the colours work to show off her fabulous holiday tan.
As I said, we are very different characters and may seem as an unlikely couple every now and then, but it just works perfectly for us. I wouldn't be the me I am today, without my Maxi, with her maxi- selfconvidence, maxi- sarcasm, maxi- uniqueness and maxi- heart for which I admire her and learn from every day...
So we wanderd from booth to booth , the sunshine in our faces, cherishing all the stuff at the market and then finally I found me a black rucksack and bought it right away.
After we had finished our round we went over to a smaller fleamarket at Arkonaplatz.
On our way we took a lot of pictures to capture this beatiful day. What you can't see in the pictures is our, at some points almost histerical, laughter. The wall we're infront of was right next to a dixie toilet which exuded a smell so dreadful I can't even start to explain. I know that may not sound like the funniest thing to laugh at, but laughing comes just so easy when you're around friends.
I hope all of you had a great weekend with friends.
Enjoy the pictures and have a great start into this new week.
♡
